Job summary

Meridian Laboratory Corporation in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time phlebotomist with strong customer service skills who can work independently and uphold high phlebotomy standards.

You will collect blood from geriatric patients in a long-term care setting, transport samples promptly, and centrifuge/process specimens for lab testing. Compensation is hourly and may include mileage reimbursement; hours are 3:30am-11:30am Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in phlebotomy.
• Ability to work with geriatric patients in long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from geriatric patients in LTC settings.
• Transport specimens per specimen integrity guidelines.
• Process specimens including centrifugation for testing.
