Job summary

Labcorp in Bellevue, WA is seeking an experienced phlebotomist to join a patient-centered team. You will perform blood collections, ensure specimen quality, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires Washington phlebotomy license or pending, full vaccination, and strong customer service skills. Schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM with potential Saturdays; full-time with benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington Phlebotomy License or license application at time of hire.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualify for accommodations.
• Previous phlebotomy experience.
• Proven customer service skills and strong communication.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime and pass color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Pay Range: $20.00/HR - $28.93/HR

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM; additional hours and rotating Saturday's as needed.

Job Requirements

• This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Subject to applicable law, all prospective hires will need to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for medical or religious accommodations.
• Must have valid Washington issued Phlebotomy License or have an application for Phlebotomy License filed with Washington Department of Health at time of hire
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
