Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Phlebotomist for the Palmerton Outpatient Lab, Mon-Fri 6a-12p with every 3rd Saturday rotation.

You will collect blood specimens across all ages, ensure accurate labeling, and support PSC workflows, including Epic registration and non-blood specimen collection. The role requires phlebotomy competency, strong customer service, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy program certificate preferred.
• Minimum of 100 successful venipunctures or demonstrated competency required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens via venipuncture, capillary collection, and heel sticks for all ages.
• Label specimens accurately and ensure proper handling and transport.
• Perform outpatient EKGs and assist with kiosk registration workflows.
• Assist with Epic registration workflows and patient demographic updates.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
