Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Crewe, VA. You will perform blood collections and ensure patient service with accuracy and compassion.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday with specified hours and benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO, and tuition reimbursement. Candidates must have phlebotomy certification or training and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service and strong communication skills.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other Duties as assigned
