Oklahoma Blood Institute in Tulsa is seeking a phlebotomist to support donors with a safe and pleasant donation experience. High school diploma or GED required; no experience needed as we provide world-class paid on-the-job training. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; must have reliable transportation and be able to lift 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college classes a plus.
• No phlebotomy experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration, vitals, phlebotomy, and related duties for blood donations.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and FDA quality standards.
• Assist supervisor with daily paperwork and equipment checks.
• Monitor donor comfort and reactions during donation; provide excellent donor care.
• Educate donors on donation frequency and blood product information.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.
