Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college classes are a plus.
• No phlebotomy experience required; world class on-the-job training provided.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Excellent customer service, professionalism, and communication skills required.
• Able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing, and record-keeping duties.
• Adhere to SOPs and FDA quality standards for blood products.
• Assist supervisor with daily paperwork.
• Notify supervisor of equipment or donor issues.
• Assess donor needs and manage donor reactions.
• Educate donors on blood donation information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
