Job summary

Job description

About The Role

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

How You Will Contribute
  • You will answer phones, greet donors and focus on ensuring their safety.
  • You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger‑stick results.
  • Use the Donor Information System to prepare charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
  • You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company‑approved procedures.
  • You will be available to work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
What You Bring To Takeda
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk or stand for entire shift.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90 % of work tasks require prolonged glove wear.
  • At least one year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.

Location and Compensation

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $21.00

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short‑term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, well‑being benefits, up to 80 hours of sick time, and up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
