Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time per diem phlebotomist to collect and process patient specimens at Burlington Hospital. The role involves phlebotomy, specimen labeling, and providing friendly frontline service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience and ability to perform detailed clerical work.

Responsibilities

• Patient identification, phlebotomy, specimen labeling
• Specimen verification, processing, shipment and front loading on instruments for testing
• Performs pre-analytical processes including registration, and ordering
• Provides outstanding customer service with effective communication
• Performs clerical tasks including telephone, report generation and faxing
