Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to collect and process patient specimens in a fast-paced setting. You will ensure proper patient identification, label specimens accurately, and maintain safety and quality standards across pre-analytic processes.

Previous phlebotomy experience and formal training are required; ASCP/NHA/AMT certification is preferred. This on-site role offers valuable patient interaction and reliable schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Formal phlebotomy training required.
• ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient identification, phlebotomy, specimen labeling.
• Specimen verification, processing, shipment and front loading on instruments for testing.
• Pre-analytical processes including registration and ordering.
