Job summary

Software Placement Group is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role across multiple patient service center locations in Oceanside, CA. The position is full-time, on-site, with a 3-month term and potential for permanent placement. Shifts run 6AM–6PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend rotations.

You will travel between sites as needed and receive mileage reimbursement. The ideal candidate holds a valid phlebotomy certification, 6 months of venipuncture experience, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Must hold valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–4 years of experience preferred.
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens and operate centrifuge equipment.
• Record maintenance data and perform decontamination procedures.
• Update patient information in system records.
• Collect and store specimens according to procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process to patients clearly.
