Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Jamestown, OH team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, process specimens, enter data, and provide excellent patient service in a Patient Service Center or client office.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–1:00pm with rotating Saturdays. Pay range is $17.75–$25.92 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and eligibility for incentive plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or phlebotomy certification or completed training
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Proven customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
