Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta, Colorado is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. You will perform venipunctures and skin punctures, label specimens, and maintain accurate documentation while prioritizing patient safety and comfort in a collaborative setting.

Join a dedicated team that supports high-quality patient care across Southeastern Colorado. A Phlebotomy training program or relevant experience is required; certification is preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy training program or relevant experience.
• Phlebotomy certification, Medical Assistant, LPN or related certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipunctures, skin punctures, blood cultures, and therapeutic phlebotomies accurately and efficiently.
• Label specimens at the bedside and ensure accurate documentation of all collections.
• Verify patient identity prior to specimen collection.
• Follow Standard Precautions and infection control guidelines at all times.
• Order and maintain adequate supplies for phlebotomy operations.
