Job summary

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience or completion of accredited training.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draws blood by capillary or venipuncture and labels tubes for Lab delivery per policy.
• Maintains Order Monitor and coordinates workload with phlebotomy staff and hospital personnel.
• Performs Front Office duties; processes extra tubes, including centrifuging and proper storage.
• Loads specimens onto Roche Modular Pre-Analytics (MPA) system.
• Answers telephones and responds to inquiries from hospital personnel, visitors, or others.
• Participates in supervisor-directed training procedures.
