Job summary

CCRM is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy, process blood specimens, and manage lab logs in a clinical setting.

The role also handles billing coordination with the billing office, ensures specimen integrity, and maintains inventory while delivering high-quality patient care. Reports to Laboratory management and works closely with Medical Technologists.

Qualifications

• Must hold current phlebotomy certification and have clinical phlebotomy training.
• Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience with strong patient care focus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; familiarity with lab protocols.
• Working knowledge of laboratory software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy services following established procedures.
• Obtain and process specimens with proper identification and handling.
• Manage lab logs, billing documentation and reporting.
• Maintain inventory and ensure adequate supplies for phlebotomy.
• Assist with data entry and transmission of lab results.
