• 2-3 years medical office experience.
• General understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Knowledge of payer requirements for referrals and pre-authorizations.
• Knowledge of computerized billing system.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the draw site.
• Oversees inventory management and training of personnel.
• Performs phlebotomy and front desk duties in ambulatory lab setting.
• Handles demographic, insurance registration, scheduling, and pre-visit activities.
• Collects payments and posts transactions accurately.
• Ensures adherence to policies and maintains guest relations.
• Verifies written orders against specimen labels.
