Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist (MA-P) or eligible.
• Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures professionally at various sites and explain the procedure to patients.
• Ensure blood draws are collected timely and monitor workload-pending lists for specimen accountability.
• Accurately label patient samples following hospital policy.
