Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant to join the Central Testing team for full-time days (08:00–17:00). The role involves patient phlebotomy, specimen labeling and processing, registration and data entry, and monitoring supply levels.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy training, and possibly certification. BLS is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required).
• Phlebotomy course (preferred).
• Phlebotomy certification (Preferred).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing.
