Sentara Health in Norfolk, VA is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist - Clinical Lab Assistant for part-time daytime hours (1p-5p, M-F, and every other weekend 10a-5p). Responsibilities include phlebotomy, specimen processing, registration, and data entry.

BLS within 90 days and a phlebotomy course are required/preferred, with 1 year of experience preferred. The role supports Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and related lab services with a patient-focused approach and strong teamwork in a busy

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required).
• Phlebotomy course (preferred).
• Phlebotomy certification (Preferred).
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform patient phlebotomy while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Collect, label, and process patient specimens for testing.
• Register and enter test data.
• Monitor supply levels.
