Madison Health seeks a phlebotomy technician to obtain and prepare blood specimens for laboratory testing under general supervision. You will perform laboratory analysis according to established criteria and guidelines, contributing to accurate test results.
Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred prior phlebotomy education or experience. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous Work Experience:Previous phlebotomy education or experience preferred. Previous laboratory assistant experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English with people from diverse professional, educational and lifestyle backgrounds both orally and in writing. Ability to read and understand/follow written and verbal directions. Requires organizational and self motivational skills in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks. Must demonstrate ability to utilize effective decision-making and problem solving techniques. Ability to work independently and interdependently with the health care team. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations and focused amid interruptions in a potentially fast paced environment.
