Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy training required.
• Preferred: six months phlebotomy experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on work location.

Responsibilities

• Collects and processes patient specimens per policies within required timeframes on/off site.
• Maintain clean work area and adequate supplies.
• Perform lab support duties (order entry, registration, specimen receiving) to ensure efficiency.
• Mentor students in phlebotomy per AHN policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
