Shift/Time Zone: Foothills Community Anderson Monday-Thursday 8a-2p; Foothills Community Clemson Wednesday and Friday 8a-2p; Foothills Community Easley Tuesday 8a-2p; Monday - Friday 8a-2p

Description:
  • The Phlebotomist III - Floater is the face of our company to patients, representing trust and professionalism.
  • Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
  • Builds trust with patients by explaining procedures and drawing blood safely and accurately.
  • Provides coverage at multiple locations and roles, ensuring daily activities are completed accurately and timely.
  • Demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
  • May be assigned to work in various settings including doctor’s offices, patient service centers, house calls, or long-term care.
  • Capable of stepping in for other float staff and leading on-site personnel.
  • Acts as coach, mentor, instructor, and resource for new employees and clients, providing onboarding and support.
  • Handles high-complexity cases and collaborates across multiple functions including sales, lab testing, IT, billing, and logistics.
  • Manages multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
Required Education:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
  3. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience:
  1. At least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  2. Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  3. Customer service experience in retail or service sectors preferred.
  4. Keyboard/data entry experience.
