Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Dallas, TX, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends. The role involves collecting specimens, entering data, and processing samples using lab systems.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexibility for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Obtain identification, enter billing info, and collect payments as needed.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Handle non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phone and email tasks.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
