Quest Diagnostics in Orange, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens, process patient samples, and support the lab workflow on a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend rotation. The role requires attention to accuracy, patient communication, and compliance with procedures.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry proficiency.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Review test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client communication.
• Navigate computer systems accurately to enter data and support billing as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs; complete training timely.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, sanitation, and clerical tasks.
