Qualifications

• Must have three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; applicable in some states.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Navigate lab technology systems to verify orders and enter data accurately.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and prepare specimens for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, sanitizing, and filing.
