Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Valrico, FL is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a territory-based role, Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay starts at $21.70+ per hour.

Travel to Patient Service Centers and client sites is required to ensure accurate specimen collection and high-quality results. Responsibilities include venipuncture, data entry, specimen labeling, and maintaining a clean, welcoming collection environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in certain states (CA, NV, WA, LA).
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification, verify orders, and perform data entry.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling and storage.
• Communicate collection procedures clearly and maintain a clean collection environment.
• Travel within the territory to PSCs, client offices, and other sites.
