Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test/client information and confirm orders using lab systems.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, filing, phones, emails.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/submission of data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training completion.
