Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Secaucus, NJ. The position runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Wednesday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with rotational weekend shifts. Pay range is $24.50 - $26.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsabilités

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and confirm orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols, procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions as required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs in a timely manner.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
