Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Phlebotomist II to collect and process high-quality blood specimens while ensuring precise patient identification and accurate documentation. The role supports physicians in delivering timely patient care under supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, coordinating shift transitions, and utilizing hospital systems to meet established turnaround times.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred completion of Accredited Phlebotomy program.
• Preferred 6 months relevant medical or laboratory experience.
• BLS (CPR) certification from ARC or AHA Healthcare Provider is required.
• Clinical Laboratory Assistant/Medical Laboratory Assistant certification may be acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Collect high-quality blood specimens and maintain iSTAT competency for POC testing.
• Ensure precise patient identification to prevent mislabeling and transfusion errors.
• Facilitate effective communication during shift transitions.
• Maintain phlebotomy supplies and organized work area.
• Perform regular cart checks to keep supplies fresh and stocked.
• Use lab/hospital systems for accurate documentation and turnaround times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
