Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy training or medical assistant/paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain atmosphere of trust and confidence.
• Maintain required records and documentation, and promote a professional environment.
