Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Phlebotomist II Part-Time in Hackensack, NJ ( Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 8:00 AM–1:00 PM with rotating Saturdays ). Pay range is $24.50–$26.25 per hour. Responsibilities include collecting specimens, entering data, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required
• Keyboard/data entry experience
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams)
• Administer oral solutions as trained
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policies
• Process specimens (label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze, transport)
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stock, sanitation, filing, email)
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures
• Assist with statistics and data submission
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs
• Complete trainings on time
