Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist II in Humble, TX. The position runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM with rotational weekends. The pay range starts at $22.35 per hour and may include annual bonus potential based on performance and factors such as skills and experience.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, verifying orders, data entry, and handling non-patient duties while adhering to policies. Part-time benefits align with 29 hours or less per week.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing) for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Read and comply with departmental policies.
• Assist with statistics and data submission.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
