Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join a busy patient service center in Lakeland, FL. You will collect blood specimens from pediatric to geriatric patients, enter orders, and process/shipment of specimens in a fast-paced team environment.

This onsite role runs 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays, for a 3‑month duration. You should have at least 2 years of phlebotomy experience, be able to stand for long periods, and work well in a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to perform order entry.
• Experience or ability to perform blood draws accurately and safely.
• Ability to work in a very busy patient service environment.
• Ability to stand for approximately 7.5 hours per shift.
• Ability to work the designated schedule, including rotating Saturdays.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a patient-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection and phlebotomy procedures for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Collect and handle blood specimens accurately while following established procedures.
• Enter and verify patient and laboratory orders using computer systems.
• Process, prepare, package, and ship specimens according to laboratory guidelines.
• Perform drug screening collections as required.
• Ensure proper specimen identification, labeling, handling, and documentation.
• Provide professional and courteous service to patients while maintaining a positive patient experience.
• Follow established safety procedures, infection-control practices, and laboratory protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient patient flow and daily operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
