Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Phlebotomist for a contract role onsite in Theodore, AL, serving the Mobile area on the 2nd shift. The position requires proximity to Mobile and immediate availability.

You will perform venipuncture and blood draws, label, centrifuge, split and freeze specimens according to test orders and lab protocols, and store samples at required temperatures. At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience is needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience mandatory

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test orders and lab protocols.
• Store specimen samples at the required temperature and place them in the appropriate collection containers or tubes.
