Job summary

Global Technical Talent, Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist II in Kokomo, IN for a 2-month, onsite contract. Pay ranges from $21.50 to $23.05 per hour (USD). Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, with travel to multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen handling, labeling verification, and maintaining patient confidentiality while delivering accurate results. Onsite flexibility and reliable transportation are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience required.
• Pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info / initials post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.
