Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays. The pay range is $21.75–$24.90 per hour, with eligible annual incentive potential based on performance and market factors.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience, incl. pediatric/geriatric/capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable.
• English communication ability required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (CA/NV/WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders and test/client information using lab systems.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance/temperature logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
