Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Littleton, CO, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays. Pay range is $23.00 - $25.90 per hour, with potential annual bonus. Responsibilities include collecting specimens, verifying orders, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs timely (maintenance and temperature logs).
• Complete training courses timely.
