Pride Health in Winchester, VA is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support a healthcare facility. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm with rotational Saturdays at Winchester 22601. Local contract term with pay range of $24.51 - $26.27 per hour. Pay offered based on experience, credentials, and education.

Responsibilities include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, maintaining records, and ensuring proper specimen handling and transport. Requires HS diploma and 3–5 years phlebotomy experience.

• 3–5 years phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens and centrifuge where needed.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination; update patient information.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique with straight and butterfly needles.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes; label, centrifuge, split and freeze as required.
• Check test requisitions against labels to ensure accuracy; package specimens for transport.
