Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Turlock, CA. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay range is $23.80-$26.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, preparing samples, data entry, and ensuring compliance with policies. Requires 3 years phlebotomy experience; CA-based certification preferred and a high school diploma. Competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Navigate lab systems to confirm and verify orders and enter data accurately.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and emails.
