Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II Territory (Float) for Grandville, MI, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with rotational weekends. You will collect specimens, verify patient IDs, and handle diverse collections across PSCs and client sites.

Role requires two years phlebotomy experience, state-specific certifications as applicable, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting with strong communication skills. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA and LA.
• English required.
• Travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws following established procedures.
• Ensure patient identification and labeling accuracy; enter data as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing (labeling, centrifuging, storing).
• Provide professional, courteous service to patients and clients; handle high-volume workflow.
• Travel across PSCs and Client Offices within the territory; maintain timely office operations.
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and compliance policies; use lab systems for orders and documentation.
