Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II Float to support our client’s medical facility in Overland Park, KS. This is a 4+ month contract opportunity with a potential extension and a strong entry into a premier healthcare organization.

The role requires at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric draws, and a high school diploma. Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm and Sat 8am-noon, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
• Two or more years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
