Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Under direction, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform specimen collection and processing per procedures.
• Verify patient demographics and signature post-venipuncture for correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients and staff.
