Quest Diagnostics in Johnson City, TN is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join our team. The schedule includes multiple shifts (Mon/Wed 8:00–1:30, Tue/Thu 8:00–5:00, Fri–Sun closed) with a pay range starting at $20.00 per hour. The role emphasizes specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to lab procedures.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify all orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain and enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and email.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
