Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Hopewell, VA. The role runs Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotational weekends. The pay range is $21.50 – $23.05 per hour and eligibility for annual bonus based on performance may apply.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Handle non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies.
