Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Trumbull, CT, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role includes collecting specimens, lab data entry, and adhering to established procedures using laboratory systems.

Requirements include three years of phlebotomy experience, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma. Medical training or phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client communications.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
