Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime; valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, and email/phone tasks.
• Read, understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
