Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Hayes, VA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM and rotating weekends. You will collect specimens, process samples, and ensure accurate data entry across lab systems.

Qualifications

  • Three years phlebotomy experience required, incl. pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience with accuracy.
  • Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Collect specimens following established procedures and handle drug screens and screenings.
  • Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
  • Enter data and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
  • Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones and email.
  • Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete trainings timely.
