Quest Diagnostics in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule with rotational weekends. A state phlebotomy license is required; CA licenses accepted exclude certain NHA licenses. You will collect specimens, enter data, and maintain logs while supporting patient care in a fast-paced lab environment.

Competenze

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Mansioni

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparation for transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, calls).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training records.
