Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Denver, CO is seeking a Phlebotomist II to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational Saturdays. The role offers a pay range of $23.00–$29.00 per hour and potential annual bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify test orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data as required.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and prepare reports as needed.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
