Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Gig Harbor, WA region. The role requires a state phlebotomy license and full vaccination against COVID-19.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with competitive hourly pay and bonus eligibility based on performance and market factors. Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and ensuring proper processing and billing procedures.

Qualificações

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contacts.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Follow departmental policies and procedures; maintain logs and statistics.
