Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc in Kenosha, WI, is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday shift 7:30 AM–3:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role offers a pay range starting at $20 per hour and eligible performance bonuses with comprehensive benefits.

The successful candidate will collect specimens, perform data entry, verify orders, and ensure accurate billing while adhering to policies and quality standards. Strong phlebotomy skills and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab technology systems.
• Navigate a computer and accurately enter data.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones and emails.
• Read and comply with departmental policies, protocols and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
